Loved it

The property was even better than expected and the view was great! The cabin accommodated two families total of eight people easily. We had a wonderful time and could not have asked for more in a mountain property. There was wildlife everyday right by our cabin.

The pictures on this listing don’t do the property justice. This home is beautiful, inside and out. Let me also mention that you are provided with some many extras from extra toilet paper to trash bags and you know that you always have to run to the store to get more of these items. I would give this booking a rating of 20 on a scale of 1-10. I hope to come back during the summer and spend more time here.

We had an amazing stay. The house was clean and beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone. We loved the wrap around porch and the view from the second floor balcony. The only disappointment was that we did not see a bear! We will definitely be back.

Spectacular Home, Peace and Quiet, Beautiful Views

This well appointed log home high in the mountains above Colorado Springs is a perfect place to relax and use as a base to enjoy the various outdoor activities in the area, including Pikes Peak. The views from the front deck always drew us outside to experience the beauty of the surrounding mountains, to watch for the deer and other wildlife that call this area home, or in the evening on a clear night to star gaze. The drive to the house from the main road is mostly graded dirt and curvy, but safely driven with the help of navigation directions on our cell phone and the directions given to us prior to our arrival by the owners. They were also very helpful during the planning stages for our stay and upon arrival provided detailed information at the house about the property features, local attractions and shopping options. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay here.
